Project description:

The project “How will the new talents change project management in a data-rich era?” gives special attention to the question of how the data-rich era is transforming (will transform) the talent pipeline in project management by 2030. Project management professionals need to become more sensitive in virtual interaction and better understand each other’s behavior and thinking patterns. New talents bring experience and familiarity with digital technology and have a better understanding of emerging business tools. Nurturing a diverse and skilled workforce is a key element of the project management profession’s long-term agenda for change. Thus, the foregoing trends lead us to question how our project management professionals are changing in the data-rich era. This is a 1-year project collecting data through an online survey, interviews and focus groups.
